I just want to say that I hate Photobooth's movies with a passion.
Anyway, I saw Margot At The Wedding and Epic Movie the other day. I had very low expectations for Margot because I hated Squid And The Whale. But even with it still feeling too close to home, I enjoyed it. Much like I enjoyed the very relatable (Firefox, that is definitely a word) American Beauty. I can't watch men cry without guffawing though, so I probably enjoyed emo!Jack Black a bit too much. Epic Movie was lame and very far off-course from what made the Scary Movie series funny. But I was determined to watch for Kal Penn and Jayma Mays. And then they spoofed Nacho Libre and that made me laugh.
I didn't realized Towelhead came out this week, so if my plans turn to beans tomorrow I might trek off and see that. I'm excited, especially after an unexpected but mostly positive review on Totally Rad Show about it. Aaron Eckhart! Toni Colette! Where is the bad?
But right now it's time for Be Kind, Rewind-- which I swore I'd never see because I'm not really a fan of Gondry's films (his music videos are awesome). But, you know, Jack Black.
In closing, I think I'm going to marry Liam Lynch.
WHY HADN'T I WATCHED HIS PODCAST UNTIL NOW? SUCH LOVE.
