Today was a great day. Got up and hopped straight onto the computer and stayed there. Caught up on TV, then started a blip.fm because I wasn't annoying enough on Facebook, blipped every now and then and listened to other songs on there. Then I got the brilliant idea to take out all my old Now That's What I Call Music CDs and mix CDs I made back in high school for people I had crushes on, and listened to them all. Good times, let me tell you. I like that even back then I wasn't as mushy as a teenager should be. The mixes from freshmen year were a little on the pop side (Nobody's Angels, soulDecision), but otherwise my music tastes haven't changed too much. Hysterical. Then I made plans for the rest of this week.
And then I missed The Good Guys by ten minutes. :/ But I'll catch it tomorrow.
My Boys: The premiere was amazing. College!Brendan IS HYSTERICAL. And all the crazy Bobby/Brendan moments that were happening were great. I love how this show is just one big OTP party.
"My feet feel like they're full of really heavy water." "How can one water be heavier than the other?" LOOOL I went, "Wait, what?" at the exact moment PJ responded to Kenny. THANK YOU, PJ.
And in reference to this week's episode: MIKE DOES NOT LOOK 43 WHAT IS THIS INSANITY. I actually went to the entire cast's IMDB and Wikipedia pages just to make sure they weren't playing older. And Jamie is 45? WHAT IS THIS.
Hung: LOOOOOL DAMON. What a creeper poem that was. And of course Tanya thinks it's beautiful. I knew the dinner date would end up that way. I can't wait to see how Ray wiggles out of this one.
White Collar: White Collar was cute last week, especially the way Neal was protective of Elizabeth when he wasn't sure what Peter was up to. And then this week (filmed at the Rose Hill campus of Fordham--Neal's bracelet wouldn't reach that far ;) ) was great because I am a fan of Neal/Alex.
Psych: The second episode was much better than the premiere. I don't know, I guess Psych can't ever really do strong premieres? The best premiere was "Ghosts" and even that one was weird. I have been waiting for a while for a tap dancing episode, but I didn't expect how cute it would be. Lassiter teaming up with Gus was weird but I really liked the chemistry between them. I'd have liked to see Shawn and Lassiter, but that would never have made sense. Shawn and Juliet can at least tolerate each other. ALSO HI BRAD RAIDER. YOU TOOK LONGER THAN I EXPECTED TO POP UP!
I'd heard this week's episode was pretty geeky. "Shawn Vs. The Red Phantom" was pretty geeky without throwing in actual geek references, and somehow this one felt flatter than that one. But it was a pretty cool episode--and funny to boot.
And I also spotted the pineapple in both episodes without trying. I think. I SAW YELLOW AND GREEN IN THE GEEK ROOM BUT IT WAS BLURRY.
Royal Pains: Royal Pains was AMAZING this week. I approve of this crazy party that happened. Except for the Hank/Emily. D: They look pretty cute together but no. NOOOOOOO.
